Ronaldo puts an end to rumors about his future with Al-Nassr Saudi Club.

Several reports quoted Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo after he led his national team to win the UEFA Nations League title in Munich, where he said:
"Nothing will change. Playing for Al-Nassr? Yes."

Ronaldo, now 40 years old, joined Al-Nassr FC in 2023 following a dispute with coach Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. His current contract with the Saudi club ends on June 30.

Meanwhile, Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, recently hinted that Ronaldo could move to a club participating in the FIFA Club World Cup. While Ronaldo confirmed that there have been talks, he also stated that he will not participate in the upcoming tournament to be held in the United States.

The Portuguese national team defeated Spain 5-3 in a penalty shootout on Sunday, securing their third major title after winning Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League.

Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, commented:
"I have many titles, but nothing beats winning with the national team."

He scored the second equalizer in the 61st minute, sending the match into penalties. However, he left the field in the 88th minute due to what appeared to be a thigh injury. He had also scored the winning goal in the 2-1 semi-final victory over Germany.

The two goals against Germany and Spain raised his international tally to 138 goals in 221 matches, both world records in men's football.

Head coach Roberto Martínez praised Ronaldo's crucial role in the title win, despite facing criticism—especially from the Portuguese media—over the team’s inconsistent performances in some games.

Ronaldo described the criticism as "unfair," noting that the team displayed organized tactics throughout the tournament, managing to stop a rejuvenated German team, and later overcoming the stylish Spanish squad, led by their rising star Lamine Yamal.

In a clash of generations, Ronaldo triumphed over the 17-year-old Yamal. However, the two may face off again in the upcoming FIFA World Cup, the only major title still missing from Ronaldo’s illustrious career.

The final match demonstrated that Ronaldo can still excite crowds, and he is expected to receive a warm welcome in what could be his sixth World Cup appearance, to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico next year.
